Forensic Delay Analysis
- Chamberz has provided comprehensive forensic delay analysis services using its expert planners and delay analyst to various large scale projects including complex infrastructure and oil & gas projects. Our professionals mainly conduct programme based delay analysis in Primavera, subject to the availability of such programme information, which otherwise would be conducted on factual basis.
- In conducting the delay analysis, our expert professionals would consider all the factual information available prior to selecting an appropriate delay analysis technique. In doing so we would consider all the programme related information such as contract baseline schedule (approved or disputed), periodic update schedules submitted, any re-baseline or recovery schedules available and as-built programme. A series of meetings and discussions either face-to-face or via video / audio conferencing would be conducted in order to understand the factual information and organise such information in chronological manner in order to establish relevant delay events and its supporting evidences. Further discussions would be held to fine tune the delay analysis programme in line with the actual construction sequence.
- Results are interpreted pursuant to the standard industry procedures & contractual provisions and presented in a report that would establish entitlement for extension of time and quantum (in this instance, length of time) of such entitlement.
