- When it comes to the re-measurement or item rate or unit rate contracts, we apply relevant and applicable standard method of measurements and corresponding unit / item rates available under the contract considering measurement & pricing preambles to the method of measurement under the contract (if available). For changes or variations, entitlement for additional costs with reference to the scope undertaken by the client would be established first before proceeding to value a change or variation by using either contract rates (insofar it’s applicable) or new rate built-up from the first principles (labour, material, equipment, attendance and profit components) or market rates if the works are specialised in nature.
- For the indirect cost claims arising out of delay or disruptions, appropriate delay analysis technique would be adopted first with the focus to establish critical concurrent delays (if any) in order to demonstrate entitlement for additional costs recovery.
